Join Heartland for a special advance screening of this Crystal Heart Award-winning documentary feature about the soul of a coal-mining community reflected in the odyssey of Hollywood actress Sarah Rush, who returns to her roots in rural Pennsylvania and to the 50th anniversary celebration of the Bituminous Coal Queen Pageant. In this homage to small-town America, the miners and the moms, the bank tellers and the beauty queens remind us of the strength of a shared sacrifice and a collective spirit. Producer, Director and Writer David Hunt (film credits include Bobby Jones, Stroke of Genius, Eyes Wide Shut) along with Producer, Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Executive Producer, Sarah Rush (film roles include Catch Me If You Can, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde) are scheduled to attend the event and will participate in a question and answer session following the film. Don’t miss your chance to see this unique film.
