Disabled composer Dennis Eberhard goes against all odds in a whirlwind journey to St. Petersburg where he and pianist Halida Dinova debut his stirring piano concerto, a piece which was inspired by a tragic Russian submarine accident, and played to the tearful families of the lost sailors. Get a first hand look at just how much effort it takes this man to make the impact of his life.

Laura Paglin has been producing and directing films since she was a teenager. Her recently completed dark comedy, Nightowls of Coventry, (a Sundance Script Lab finalist) is being theatrically released in Canada starting October 2005. In addition to appearing in film festivals, Paglin’s films have aired on the Sundance Channel and PBS affiliates throughout the country. Since completing Shadow of the Swan – A Composer’s Story, Paglin has begun production on Java Wars, a feature documentary about three hippie entrepreneurs who plot to take over the country’s largest drug cartel – coffee.
