Ticket Agent
Heartland has an opening for a seasonal Ticket Agent for the 2007 Heartland Film Festival. This position will run from August 15, 2007, through November 2, 2007.

The following duties will be assigned to this position:

  • Handling of customer calls related to Festival screenings, special events, and ticket purchasing.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of ticket purchaser records via the various ticket outlets used by the Festival.
  • Ticket selling at one of our three screening theaters during the Festival.
  • Coordination and promotion of group ticket sales.
  • Various administrative duties and projects as assigned for the 2007 Festival.

Candidates must possess the following skill sets:

  • Highly organized.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work effectively as part of a team.

 

Operations Assistant
Heartland has an opening for a seasonal Operations Assistant for the 2007 Heartland Film Festival. This position will run from August 15, 2007, through November 2, 2007.

The following duties will be assigned to this position:

  • Coordination of hotel and travel arrangements for filmmakers during the Festival.
  • Assist advancement department with fulfillment of sponsor and partner contracts as needed.
  • Assist marketing department with public relations and communications projects as needed.
  • Coordination of various events, venues, and activities during the Festival as assigned by the director of operations.

Candidates must possess the following skill sets:

  • Highly organized.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work effectively as part of a team.
