The Colts dominate January.  May means the Indy 500.  If it’s October, though, there’s only one place to be:  Heartland Film Festival.

For the last fifteen years, Heartland has populated one week in October with all the best a film festival can offer.  Between the Crystal Heart Awards Gala, the Education Seminar and the on-going Festival screenings, one thing is certain.  Heartland means movies. 

And not just any movies.  Heartland is driven by a mission to recognize and honor filmmakers whose work explores the human journey by artistically expressing hope and respect for the positive values of life.  It is this mission that allows us to bring some of the most moving films directly to Indianapolis.

Whether you’re just discovering the Festival or make it a point to attend every year, there’s always something new to see.  You’ll find the complete schedule of films online, and you can even buy your tickets while you’re here.
