Heartland Truly Moving Pictures is currently seeking talented individuals for our annual Seasonal Positions, support roles during the Heartland Film Festival October 16 to 24, 2008. Positions available include: Ticket Agent; Operations Assistant; Graphic Designer.

2008 Heartland Film Festival Ticket Agent
Heartland has an opening for a seasonal Ticket Agent for the 2008 Heartland Film Festival. This position will run from August 18, 2008, through November 7, 2008.
The following duties will be assigned to this position:
Handling of customer calls related to Festival screenings, special events, and ticket purchasing.
Maintenance and monitoring of ticket purchaser records via the various ticket outlets used by the Festival.
Ticket selling at one of our three screening theaters during the Festival.
Coordination and promotion of group ticket sales.
Various administrative duties and projects as assigned for the 2008 Festival.
Candidates must possess the following skill sets:
Highly organized.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Strong communication skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to work effectively as part of a team.
2008 Heartland Film Festival Operations Assistant
Heartland has an opening for a seasonal Operations Assistant for the 2008 Heartland Film Festival. This position will run from August 18, 2008, through November 7, 2008.
The following duties will be assigned to this position:
Coordination of hotel and travel arrangements for filmmakers during the Festival.
Assist advancement department with fulfillment of sponsor and partner contracts as needed.
Assist marketing department with public relations and communications projects as needed.
Manage merchandise sales.
Coordination of various events, venues, and activities during the Festival as assigned by the director of operations.
Candidates must possess the following skill sets:
Highly organized.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Strong communication skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to work effectively as part of a team.

2008 Seasonal Graphic Designer
Heartland seeks a seasonal graphic designer to create eye-catching print collateral materials for the organization and its many subsidiaries including its flagship event, Heartland Film Festival. The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Visual Communications or Graphic Design with a minimum of two years of professional experience. The in-house designer will work within Heartland’s established brand identity system on a number of projects. The candidate will also quote and supervise print production, and may be asked to perform other duties to help support the marketing staff. The position will start immediately and go until the end of the year.
Candidates must possess the following skill sets:
Must be deadline driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to handle multiple projects
Proficient with the Creative Suite of design software (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
Some knowledge of the print quoting process and print production supervision
Positive attitude and willingness to work effectively as part of a team.
