		Heartland Truly Moving Pictures is grateful for the support of our hard-working volunteers. Volunteers are involved in all aspects of the Festival, from planning the events to working at the theaters to providing hospitality for filmmakers and guests.

Volunteers also provide valuable assistance in our year-round programming, educational, marketing and fundraising efforts.

Heartland volunteers receive complimentary tickets to Festival films based on the number of hours they volunteer (limit of a ten pack of tickets per volunteer). Two awards are presented to outstanding volunteers after the Festival each year. The President's Volunteer Award is given for leadership and commitment to the mission of Heartland. The Paul and Marie Sparks Volunteer Hour Award is given to the volunteer who has contributed the most volunteer hours.

All of our volunteers are listed in our database and receive mailings, news and other information about Heartland. Many of our volunteers join or are already part of our CIRCLE OF FRIENDS and support the work that we do in more ways than one.
